First, hold onto the back of a chair. (Make sure there's something holding down that chair or it'll flip!) Put one foot up on toe, and put the arch of your foot over your heel, with the heel of the foot on top hooking over the outside edge of the foot on toe, and put weight on it. I hope that makes sense! It works really well for wearing in your shoes, and getting your ankles stronger. And once you get comfortable doing that, try doing toestands holding onto your chair. If your shoes are still too stiff, I've heard that holding them over steam helps. (Boil water on stove, hold shoes over it) Hope I helped!
