For a dancer to obtain a TCRG one of the requirements is that the dancer be able to demonstrate skill in instruction of dancing ceili and solo dancing. However, a TCRG doesn't qualify as an adjudicator...and ADCRG is needed for that. I wouldn't find it terribly pushy to write a letter to the dance school which you haven't recieved a trophy from, unless you have already given them a mailing address to send the trophy to. Be patient, the dance school's main focus isn't on mailing out trophies, but instructing dance. It could take up to 8 weeks for you to get your trophy, so in the mean time, just brag on your accomplishment, and be proud that you were lucky enough to get second! ttfn :0)
