Subject: Ermittler finden angeblich Haider-Millionen in Liechtenstein

Wien — Der verstorbene österreichische Rechtspopulist Jörg
Haider soll zwischenzeitlich rund 45 Millionen Euro auf
Konten in Liechtenstein angesammelt haben. Wie das
Nachrichtenmagazin "profil" berichtet, stießen Ermittler
aus Österreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz auf mehrere
Briefkastenfirmen mit Verbindungen zu dem früheren Kärtner
Landeshauptmann. Der Großteil des Geld sei bereits vor
Jahren verspekuliert worden, das Vermögen auf heute rund
fünf Millionen Euro zusammengeschmolzen.



Die Sonderermittler hatten dem Bericht zufolge die Konten
im Zusammenhang mit zwei Untersuchungen geöffnet: dem Kauf
der Hypo Group Alpe Adria Bank (HGAA) durch die deutsche
BayernLB im Jahr 2007 sowie die Privatisierung der
österreichischen Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Buwog im Jahr
2004.
