can anyone help? My mums boyfriend asked me to ask around for him. the problem is that he has a s reg suzuki TL1000r SRAD model. he didnt use it for a few months and the battery went dead. he charged the battery and when he re fitted it and turned the ignition on it was dead, nothing. the digital dsplay didnt light and the alarm didnt activate or anything. it was silent.
He charged the battery more and the same results. he then brought a new battery and the same again, nothing, plain dead and lifeless. I was tryin to work out of if the immobiliser and or alarm have been reset and need to be recoded?
i have a speedfight 50cc scooter (hairdrier to you lot!!) and if the battery is removed for longer than 24 i have to use a special red key i got with the bike to re code the immobiliser before the bike will run.
Ive tried both key sets on the bike and all the alarm fobs and stuff and nothing its just DEAD no life there at all.
Someone must know?
Also how much is this bike worth? its a real mint bike its got all the srad and suzuki iridium decals, carbon fibre indicators and everything and its in a lovely golden yellow colour. been used about 3 times in the last 6 months. paid £4200 for it so how much is it worth?
