**Aephid tests the tempreture of the water with his bare foot. It wasn't too bad, quite cold yet not too cold that it was unbearable. He climbed up to a ledge and then dived in hapily. He loved swimming! He whistled shrilly and Silvana leaped in diving straight under and then swimming back up. She whistled and chirrped delightfuly. She looked at Maneth puzzledly and then back at A'phid. She sent puzzled pictures to A'phid and then went back to playing in the water.* A'phid looked up at the shiny bronze hatchling who was looking at the water as though it had bit him.** "Come on in Maneth! The water is great! Honestly would I lie to you?" **the dragon glared stubbornly at the water** {I will not come in the water! It is horrible! What if I drown?} **A'phid sighed and rolled his eyes** "You will not drown. Honestly! All dragons can swim. I mean fire lizards are couzins of dragons, aren't they? Well just look at Silvana swim." *A'phid thought for a moment* "Oh well. It looks liek your just scared. I mean do you see any other dragons that are scared to go in the water?" *Maneth huffed angrily** {I is not scared of any water! I will come in to show you!} **He leapt in clumbsily and landed almost on top of A'phid, splashing him thouruly(sp?). Maneth shivered and pushed his head up to the top** {I told you the water is not scary! I Maneth the bronze dragon is not scared of anything!} **A'phid coughed under his breath the word hatchling. Maneth heard him and used his mighty tail to splash A'phid.**
