Black as the night that swallows the day
Is now an ever present hate,

The loathing thats eating my soul away

As I give into a darker fate,

Unable to open the prison door,

thats shutting out the light.

unable to prevent the internal war

I turn my honor to fight!

I'm fighting for a useless cause,

A winner I can't be.

Only hate can be a victor, because,

My only enemy. is me.

A tangle mess you've put me in

With your unlove and unconcern.

With your false airs, how could I have been

Fooled that my love was ever returned.

so now i watch my heart turn to ice,

And feel my soul petrify.
