Physhic Protection

Hi. I am not quite sure where to start this, as I fear it is going to sound quite weird. But in order to gain the information I am after, I have to put myself out there. I am a 33 year old female living in Perth Australia. I am in the midst of my spiritual journey so to speak, which I guess started quite a while ago, but came more into force after my mother died about a year and a half ago. She was able to sense and smell spirits and was able to predict the future and sense things about people. I grew up surrounded by spirituality; I have always been able to sense, see and some times hear spirits. I have also been able to predict things, sense things about people and have also been able to do healing. I have had a very strong call to healing as of late and am undertaking Riekii shortly. I have been told that I am a very powerful healer, a super healer master so to speak. I don�t feel it�s really appropriate to speak to much of these things; I am just trying to give a view of the wider picture in order to gain better assistance, which I hope some one here may be able to give me.
I do practise surrounding myself in white or violet light to protect myself and do ground myself frequently. I have been told, through a person talking to one of my guides who is a young Native American Indian male. Sadly, I have a bit of trouble some times as I have a few of them talking at once and can�t quite grasp it all. I need to find a symbol to work within when I practise my healing and other magical abilities, some thing that would promote and assist in physic protection. I have the feeling that I should get a tattoo or two, possibly on the inside of my wrists. I do not want to get the wrong one or one that is insulting as it is on a female or on the wrong part of my body. I understand that the right one will come to me, but if any one out there has an idea or example or guidelines I should follow, I would be most grateful.
