Subject: Moon face

Is there any Indian legend about seeing a moon face in a crowd or somewhere out of the ordinary?
My brother saw one and it freaked him out. He told my mother and she in turn told her mom and her mom saw that face 3 different times and my brother was unaware of this. My grandmother has such great stories and I thought maybe this was some how tied together.
