Subject: Vision Quest

My Dear Fellow Travelers,

Our journey through this life is fraught with danger.

Will we ever get to experience the flower in blossom? Will we ever get to witness it's unfolding?
Will we experience the visions of our forefathers? Or, will we die a toxic death at the hands of evil men who seek to kill the Earth?

I am on a quest to find the vision my God would have me seek. Inside me, as has always been, is
that 'correspondent inner breeze' spoke of by the poets.

Yes, the wind which whispers through the canyon speaks my name and calls me forth on a journey to find my soul. To escape this prison of the mundane.
Yes, I see the beauty of Sedona. I hear the music of the spheres resonate through the timeless changes of moon, earth and sky. I hear the voices of my fathers who cry out for me to witness the sublime, the divine, the dream inside for us to find.

When I was a little boy I looked upon the road and saw the perspective of the diminishing highway. I saw my future. I yearned to travel upon that highway to my destiny. But, somewhere I got lost and absorbed into the fray we call society. Now, as one who is lost in the fabric of denial of our true selves, I am again that little boy who cries out to escape the bonds which cage me to a life that will surely kill me.

Your fellow in this journey of life, my name is Jerry. I am Cherokee. I am in search of the Great Spirit of my forefathers. He calls to me and I hear him. I will not ignore him. I will find him. And, our union will be blessed. I cry to one day see the beauty he meant for us all to enjoy.
I am on a vision quest. This my friends is my soliloquy.
