I can not believe that you are seeking corporate sponsorship for this samefull name giving ceremony. You have NO RIGHT to give or recieve this name and all those involved do not live in Metlakatla and havent been for years. Why would anyone send money to someone that has been kicked off the island for bootlegging? It has been said that none of our dance groups are going to take part in this event and no one wants it to happen. Why are you doing this in Metlakatla anyway???? Why not do it in Seattle where YOU live? Metlakatla does not need this happening here. AND since when is it in our traditions to put a company logo on a canoe?!?!
