QUEEN LATIFAH

Queen Latifah is in talks to star in Pulitzer Prize winning playwright
Suzan-Lori Parks' new play, "F*ckin A." The play is the Park's take on the
classic "The Scarlet Letter." Mos Def has already joined the cast. "I
would love to do it," Latifah said. "There's nothing greater than doing a
play." Performance's start Feb 25, 2003 at the Public's Anspacher Theater
in New York.

MC HAMMER

MC Hammer will star in a new WB Network TV series, "The Surreal Life." The
show puts former stars Hammer, Emmanuel Lewis ("Webster"), Brande Roderick
("Bay Watch"), Corey Feldman ("Lost Boys"), Gabrielle Carteris ("Beverly
Hills 90210"), Vince Neil (Motley Crew) & Jerri Manthey ("Survivor 2") in
one house for 10 days. "Picture Emmanuel Lewis & MC Hammer sharing bunk
beds," Manthey said. "MC Hammer was on top!" The show debuts Jan. 9.

SUGE KNIGHT

Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested yesterday (Dec. 23) in Los Angeles, CA
for allegedly violating the terms of his parole. Authorities allege that
Knight violated the terms of his probation by associating with reputed
gang members. "He hasn't done anything but try to obey the law," attorney
David Chesnoff said. "I'm hopeful that when this is all thoroughly
analyzed that he'll be permitted to be released."
