Our complete Wardriving and extended-range WiFi kit for Truckers & RV owners includes a high power SMC Elite Connect 200 mw WiFi card, an independent +7 dBi omni-directional, ½ wave, high gain, 27" (69cm) antenna, a special RP-MMCX protect cable, Velcro to attach the protect cable, a custom mirror mount for the antenna, and 17' (5.2m) of low loss cable to connect into the truck’s cab or RV.
This kit combines the maximum amount of power commonly available in a WiFi card combined with a high-gain antenna designed for trucks and RVs to allow stable uninterrupted connections to WiFi hotspots at maximum range.
WiFi Card
The New Elite Connect by SMC (SMC-2532W-B) is a High Power WiFi Card with an incredible transmit power of 200 milliwatts (at least 4x the power of the average WiFi card,) which gives it an operating range up to 3x greater than the standard 802.11b WiFi card. SMC estimates that this card is effective at ranges up to 2,700 ft (800m), more than ½ mile!
The Elite Connect card is equipped with a detachable omni-directional low profile antenna (for use indoors,) and has two (2) RP-MMCX connectors to accommodate a variety of higher gain antennas, including our +7dBi omni-directional high-gain Trucker Antenna, our +12 dB directional Super Cantenna, and our +14 dB Ultimate Yagi directional antenna.

What is special about the Trucker Antenna?
Truckers & RV owners use WiFi at truck stops and RV areas, but are unable to effectively use mobile magnetic antennas, because most trucks and RVs have fiberglass or plastic roofs and magnetic antennas require a large metal surface to act as a ground-plane to work properly.
Our Trucker model WiFi omni-directional antenna is specifically designed with a independent ground-plane and a 15" (38cm) extension for optimal performance when mounted on trucks and RVs.
The Trucker antenna has a length of 27" (69 cm) and an integrated ground plane located 15" (38 cm) above the base and therefore does not need a metal surface to operate. With a one-half (½) wave design and a spring-loaded top, the Trucker antenna has an impressive gain of +7 dBi extending WiFi usage to the far edges of the truck stop or RV parking lot.
Antenna Mount
The Trucker antenna is constructed with a standard 3/8" x 24 threaded shaft allowing easy installation in most trucks and RVs which have pre-drilled holes for CB antennas.
We also include a universal mirror & luggage rack mount for the antenna that will adapt to many truck, RV and SUV mirror supports or vertical metal pipes up to 1" (2.5cm) in diameter.

The Trucker Antenna is designed with an integrated low-loss 24" (61cm) pigtail terminating in a type-N female connector. We include both 5' (1.5m) and a 10' (3m) extension cables to allow you maximum flexibility in positioning your laptop inside your RV or truck cab. Also included at no additional charge is an RP-MMCX Protect cable.
RP-MMCX Protect cable
The RP-MMCX connector is sturdy, but can fatigue after many uses. To solve this problem, we include a small 6" (15cm) cable with an RP-MMCX connector on one end and a durable RP-SMA connector on the other. We even include a small piece of Velcro® to affix the “protect cable” to the SMC card.
Accessories
No accessories are needed. We have included every part you'll need including extra cable to outfit your truck, SUV, or RV for WiFi access at maximum range.
Warranties
The SMC card is warrantied for a two(2) year period by the manufacturer and we warranty the antenna and cables for the same two (2) year period.
