In which role would you like to see David B.? And why ?

I love DB's smile , but I like his intelligent, tender, suffering looking dark eyes, too. I would like to see him play a doctor or a role which has to do with children and animals. In a drama he would be heartrending and in a comedy very charming :)

I would like to see him in a war movie, with the heartwrenching true love storyline and all, and a new baby born sometime during. I think those eyes could be put to good use there!

Personaly I am a fan of old movies. The Streetcar named Desire, Casablanca ,type movies. I think he would do very well in one of those types of movies. He has,(at least until recently) reminded me on the Golden Era Actors that were, Dashing, Upstanding and confident.
Although as of resent events he seems to be getting more egotistical and less inteligent in his desisions on his path.

Oh, I could totally see him in an old school double-breasted suit with those kind of thick-framed glasses. Very sexy.

Unfortunatly, as of lately I doubt we will see him is such a role. I would like to see him in some movies that could actualy make a difference in the entertainment world, but I don't see him agreeing to do any. His choices are his own, and as much as he professes to be in to for the work and not the celebrity. It seems like fame has gone to his head. Ergo, no more quality roles and alot more large exsopsure roles. Oh well, his down to earth attitude was nice while it lasted.

I must say I agree with you there. His words and his actions do not seem to add up. Hopefully he will snap back to reality soon--if not, I guess we will just have to enjoy the view, but keep the sound on mute :-)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Now I hear that. It is hard to keep admiring a person who so often says one thing and does another. Talk about disillusionment, smacking you in the ass.

Disillusionment smacking me in the ass? Hey, if it's David's disillusionment (or anything else), it can smack my ass whenever it wants! ;-)

oh, that was fun to read :) ! You go girls !!!

I don't want to repeat what has already been said here about David and his acting choices, but I have to write my onpinion. It's sad to see him taking such choices, and behaving in a way we would have never thought he would. Can't believe that what he said at the beginning of his career isn't true. I think that he is talented and there is something in his personality I like. I know, I don't know him, it's just a feeling...In life we all have ideas and ideals about how we want to live and we all know that it's not always possible to make them become true. Only because he is a celebrity and has more money and more opportunities than we do, doesn't mean he can do what he wants. Life is also hard for him, even in another way than it is for us.I can also imagine that popularity changes someone. We are all influenced every time by evey little thing, even if we aren't conscious about it. We change...And I think that the influence in his profession is more intensive. Anyway, I don't want to justify his actions, it's not my cup of tea and I also don't agree. I actually only wanted to say that maybe he only needs time, that there is a germ of thruth about what he said and that it only needs time to grow and it will blossom one day...

SGB and shhmommy you say exactly right. I desperatly don't want David to change, but the cracks are begining to appear, I agree that maybe we would all change with fame. But I honestly can't see myself changing friends and doing all the "Star" thingy. If anything your friends would be a hundred times more prescious because they loved us as we were, long before the fame, so they are true friends in the truest way. it must be easy to faun over a star, but to still get straight talking from a friend, arguments or no, is priceless. I couldn't suck up to David , and I don't think any of us would, we are too out-spoken. But wether he could take that is another story!!!!

Truly, I think we have to take anyhting we hear about what David (or any star) says or does with a grain of salt simply because he is so famous now. Reporters will pretty much say whatever they want, taking things out of context or flat out lying. That is one reason I think it so important they have a well run official site where fans can get the real news and have contact with the star's people, if not the actual star. Celebrityblvd had a great plan, it would have been swell if they just could have kept it up.

I think they jumped the gun ,by impimenting their plans before they had the finacial backing or softwear to back it up. It's a shame. There is still potential there. If someone else does not beat them to it. Hey Shmmomy thinking about a career change. You could make some real money.
