I had the unfortunate pleasure of catching one of the new episodes of the Simpsons tonight. It was awful, as usual. However, something caught my ear: about halfway through the episode, a dialogue similar to the one I am paraphrasing right here occured:
---
Bart: Be there or be square.
Ralph: Can I be a triangle?
---
Yes, not particularly funny, I know. Now, I checked a Simpsons fansite, and found out the episode is titled:
All's Fair In Oven War (#FABF20 / SI-1520)
And apparently, it aired on November 14th, 2004.
Now, the point of this post. If you would direct yourselves to the second page of the archives of this very message board, you will encounter this message:

Subject: The FFA has been rescheduled.

Saturday at 11 Pm eastern time. Be there and be square.

To which I, Claude Christopher Kenni, responded with:
---
I'll be there, but can I be triangle? -- Claude, 15:46:34 11/08/02 Fri
---
And look at the date: November 8th, 2002.
Now, I know I've been stealing stuff from the Simpsons for years. In fact, Vejita's post itself is a rip from one of the episodes. But that still doesn't make it right.
Matt Groening, I demand an official apology from you for using my line without permission. Post a reply to this message and I'll get back to you shortly.
Until then, I'll be waiting.
