Hi Eugenia!

As for question 14, it's best to leave the basin in direct sunlight to allow the water to evaporate off.

If you heat it in a bunsen flame, the temperature can easily go beyong 90 degree celcius and causes some of the water of crystallisation to be lost! So it is not a good method to obtain the hydrated crystals.

As for question 32,
sodium sulphate will not decompose when strongly heated, so answer is not A.
There is no reaction between dilute sulphuric acid and sulphur, so answer cannot be B.
When dilute sulphuric acid is electrolysed, the product at the anode is oxygen gas, and the product at the cathode is hydrogen gas, so answer cannot be D.
[Refer to the chapter on electrolysis, from the notes you copied from the transparencies].
As for C, iron(II) sulphate will decompose to form sulphur dioxide as one of the product when heated strongly.

The colour of chlorine gas is pale greenish-yellow. Whether or not you'll be marked down because you missed the word 'pale' will depends very much on the type of questions asked!

As for the tone, there's nothing much I can do about it! Unless of course you change the sound in your own computer!
