I have a 1988 DDEC I which has lost power. It shows up as a loss of turbo boost but the boost sensor is good and the gauge is correct. When I accelerated when things were working the boost gauge sprang to the top boost. Now it gradually works it's way up and tops out around 12-15 pounds max. It used to be closer to 20.
Everything related to the engine itself is fine (even put in a new engine) so it's electronics related. It's a CC conversion and there is a large black box with a cage front that contains some unknown electronics in addition to the DDEC module in the front, the ATEC module behind it and the fuel control box in the engine.
It has been to dozens of repair facilities but Steward & Stephenson in Dallas screwed it up even further as the exhaust temperatures are now way too high and I have to drive hills using my pyrometer as a gauge of how fast I can go (which is not very fast these days). If anyone has any info, wiring diagrams or suggestions I would be most appreciative.
