1994 Bluebird gets wet in overhead interior storage compartments when AC is running. This unit has 3 original Duotherm Penguin AC units. In my investigation I found where the evaporator trays drip there are actually holes in the roof that catch the water (condensation) and direct it through drain tubes. These tubes are run through the cross section of the roof and the walls and eventually drop the water out near the wheel wells. Quite an elaborate system for sure, but not so good when things age and fall apart.

It's hard to tell without removing the AC units, but it appears to me the seal is compromised between the drain tubes and the aluminum roof. I'm assuming the next step is to remove the AC units and get a good look at things.

In observing/planning AC removal, I can see where the front AC mount studs are in air intake area, but can't see the rear studs. There's a vinyl covered ceiling piece that's part of the air intake. I think I need to remove that, but can't see any obvious fasteners. Has anybody else dealt with this before? Any hints or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Tim
