Subject: Transcript of Radio bit w/ Justin today

I found this on one of my list and it was gotten from the JJB:

Okay MJ and Froggy are the radio DJ's. And Melba is the woman that found his
drivers license. Justin is obviously Justin Timberlake.

MJ- Justin Timberlake is on the phone. Justin good morning.
Justin- (all groggy) Hey what's up?
MJ-You just wake up?
Justin- Huh?
MJ- (laughing) You just wake up?
Justin-Yeah
*MJ & Froggy laughing*
MJ-What, what'd you do last night?
Justin- (laughing) I was at Benni Haunas (sp?)
MJ- Oh Really!!!???
Justin- Yeah, we all went out for, uh...it's actually JC's birthday today,
so...
MJ- Oh really? Now you guys are where? In Orlando right now?
Justin- Yup
MJ- Ah, your Birmingham concert is cancelled due to a little Tropical Storm
right?
Justin- Yeah, Miami was too.
MJ- When are you back on the road?
Justin- Uh, well, we have a show tomorrow.
MJ- Where's tomorrow's show?
Justin- In Louiville.
MJ- Oh, in Kentucky?
Justin- Yeahhhhh
MJ- Alright, well that's pretty cool, so you guys went to Benni Hauna's last
night?
Justin- (excited) Yeahh!
MJ- The guy didn't slip at all and throw a knife at you right?
Justin- (laughing) No, no, but he wasn't that good man, I wasn't that
impressed. He couldn't catch the shrimp tail in his shirt pocket.
(MJ & Froggy laughing)
MJ-Yeah, he's supossed to flip that thing up!
Justin- Yeah, I dunno, he was...
MJ- So you're tellin me that the Benni Hauna guys gave the Nsync guys a
crappy, uh, chef?
Justin- I dunno, he, he...I'm not gonna say he was crappy...I'm just not
gonna say that he was the best chef!
MJ- Was he, was he drunk?
Justin- (laughing) I dunno, maybe he was like that commercial. He didn't
have his Extra gum or whatever
MJ- There ya go!! Something's missing....ALRIGHT, ahh Justin, lets get down
to business here. Why the heck am I holding your drivers license right
now???
Justin- Hey, you tell me!
(MJ & Froggy laughing)
MJ- What's the story? You obviously must've dropped it!
Justin- (In a REALLY weird voice, lmao) I don't EVEN know!!! You...I just
heard you guys had it, and I was like "Huh?" It's not, it's not actually my
"real" drivers license.
MJ- So which one is this?
Justin- Uh, that's my, I would, from what I saw, the previous one.
MJ- So this, uh, but this one, obviously we know it's your drivers license.
But this might've been your previous one?
Justin- Yeah
MJ- So do you have one in your pocket right now?
Justin- I have my license, yeah
MJ- Ok so the one that I'm holding now. You had this issued on uh, January
24th of this year?
Justin- (pause) Okkkk?
MJ- So did you have another one issued again? or?....
Justin- Uh huh
MJ- Okay, well this one is still valid. It's still all the same information.
So, the question is....how did it get found at Raymond James Stadium?
Justin- (breathes in deep) I don't know...(pauses) Oh! You, you want to here
MY take on it????
MJ- Yeah, cause we were told that you have an explanation on on how....
Justin- (laughing) I thought you guys had an explanation!!!!
MJ- No!!! Well, see the story is Justin, I don't know if you've heard what
happened...we recieved a call yesterday morning from a listener that said
"You're not gonna believe this. I found Justin Timberlake's drivers license
in the parking lot of the business where I work." It's only a couple blocks
from Raymond James Stadium, where you guys did the show in Tampa a week ago.
Justin- Do you guys really buy that?
MJ- JUSTIN! I'm holding your uhh...I'm holding your...
Justin- I don't buy that story though.
MJ- But I'm HOLDING your official...I'm holding your drivers license. It is
absoutely your license!!!
Justin- Come on, lets talk about conspiracy theories!
MJ- Alright Alright, so what's the story? What do you think happened?
Justin- What do I think happened? Well, uh, I will tell you that I did get
one re-issued because I had to get a motorcycyle endorsement.
MJ- Ok.
Justin- So, to, to, ya know? You have to have an endorsement in the state of
Florida to ride a motorcycle.
MJ-Ok.
Justin- And so I had one re-issued. (breathes in deep) This is funny that
I'm going on a national radio to tell everyone this.
MJ- Not a problem.
Justin- So what IIIII think happened was...(whispers) I think somebody sold
it.
MJ- Alright so wait? So your telling me the drivers license I'm holding now.
You turned this in to get your new motorcycle endorsement?
Justin- Right!
MJ- When did you get your motorcycle, ah, operative license?
Justin- Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, you know what? It was, it was right before the
summer.
MJ- So in May or June? Early June?
Justin- I would...I think so. Sorry, I don't remember exactly.
MJ- Very interesting. So, you're thinking...now which DMV office did you
visit to get your motorcycle endorsement?
Justin- The one here in Orlando.
MJ- In Orlando?
Justin- Yeah.
MJ- So, you don't think there's any way that you dropped this?
Justin- No, No, No! I remember tray--I had, they said "You have to give this
back if we're gonna give you (breathes in) give you a new one."
MJ- Wow
Justin- And that's the one.
MJ- Aha!
Justin- So, I distinctly remember giving it to someone. I don't remember who
it was? But, and even if I did, I wouldn't blast them on the radio like
that! (laughs)
MJ- No, no. Now this is very interesting now. This story has now taken a
twist. We thought...
Justin- Yeah!!!
MJ- We thought that you just dropped the drivers license.
Justin- No
MJ- Ya know? Maybe while walking through the venue. Maybe during soundcheck
or something.
Justin- Right.
MJ- Because what happened was unbelievably...and ya know? I don't know who
to believe these days!!!!
(Justin laughs)
MJ- I, I do know the lady that found it works for a VERY reputable company,
and she actually DID find this, uh, in front of her building. However, the
story gets a little more swirly because early this morning we got a call
from a guy named Willy.
Justin- Willy!!!
MJ- Willy, yeah (laughs) Willy called and claimed that he found the license
inside the stadium on Tuesday because he was taking his kids there and he
lent the license to his boss to take home, to go show HIS kids...now FOLLOW
this Justin!!
Justin- Wow!
MJ- And he lost it. And that's what caused this uh, woman, to find it,
because the boss dropped it. Now we don't know what happened with Willy. We
don't know how....
Justin- This is a license passed around the world!
MJ- This story has legs beyond belief!
Justin- Wow!!
MJ- Alright, so hey, lemme bring on Melba. Melba actually found the drivers
license.
Justin- (laughing) Ok!
MJ- Melba you're on with Justin Timberlake from Nsync.
Melba- Hello.
Justin- Hi.
Melba- I do apologize for all this crazyness!
Justin- Wha---That's ok!
MJ- Alright so...Uh Melba...
Justin- This is funny! This is like...we're like...(in a really cute voice,
lol) DETECTIVE GUYS!!!
MJ- Oh I know. We are! Alright, now Melba you found the drivers license
outside of your place of business.
Melba- Ah, actually I found it in the hallway coming in the Freight Loading
Dock.
MJ- Right, and ya know what, I believe...Melba's story checks out...I
believe her. Now what happened prior to that....I mean, your story could be
fully plausable. It's somebody from the DMV said "OMG! That's Jus..."
Justin- Well, I'm not saying some...I'm, I'm not saying somebody did, I'm
saying that, that would make more sense to me, because I remember turning it
in. I distinctly turned it in and there's a...you know? You only have ONE
license.
MJ- Yeah. So, I mean it sounds like someone lifted this thing out. Obviously
when you were at the DMV, they knew who you were..correct?
Justin- Yeah.
MJ- They knew you were Justin Timberlake, from Nsync. The guy sss----Hangin
by puppet strings right?
Justin- (laughing) Yehhh...Ok? To, to put it THAT way!
MJ- Yeah, so what do you think they're gonna do...They're probably suppossed
to shred the thing! Or chop it up into little pieces. But they decided
probably, if the story is true, "Uhh...I'm gonna KEEP Justin Timberlake's
drivers license as a souvenir!" Probably a severe violation of state law and
DMV code, but they probably did it anyway! And somehow the thing migrated
here and who knows? Maybe it was such a fan that eventually had it they
ended up at your concert. Maybe THEY dropped it last week?
Justin- (I have no idea what he says...he mumbled something. )
MJ- I mean, I don't know if we'll ever know the real story on how this
thing...
Justin- I don't think we will either MAN!
MJ- Alright! But I'm holding it.
Justin- I think it's hilarious though!
MJ- And, and Justin ya know what? Since you called in, and you held up your
end of the bargain, we're not gonna put your license on EBAY.
Justin- (laughing) Oh, geez. Ohhhh, so THAT was the deal??
MJ- That was the deal. If you didn't...
Justin- (sarcastically) Well, Thank You VERY much!
MJ- Justin, if you didn't call in...Well, I'm just being honest with you
man! This license was gonna be on EBAY at 10 O'clock this morning with a
starting price of 5000 dollars.
(Justin laughing)
Melba- Oh My! Don't believe him!
MJ- Ah, hey uh. You're on with Justin obviously, we're gonna provide you a
tape of this. You're kids are gonna flip out that you're talking to Justin
right?
Melba- Yes, and if I don't mention their names....
Justin- You have kids??? How many do you have???
Melba- I have two daughters. Marlee and Dusty, and they were both at your
concert when you were in Tampa.
Justin- Oh cool!
MJ- Hey Justin. Say "Hi Marlee and Dusty!"
Justin- Dusty? "Hi Marlee and Dusty! Hi!! How are you?"
Melba- (laughing) Thank you very much!
MJ- Now the other part of the deal is, Justin, that we need to get some
autographed stuff for her kids.
(Justin starts laughing)
MJ- And then we're gonna send the drivers license back!
Justin- Well, this is the perfect time to get swag if you need it because
you got me live on the radio!
MJ- (laughing) There we go!
Justin- (mumbles something about him having his license, lol)
MJ- Because Melba, Melba trusted us, uhhh, we sent Fester, one of our
morning bafoons over to pick it up yesterday.
Justin- Right.
MJ- And Melba trusted us. And I said "Melba listen. Here's the deal. Give us
the license. We know all the record company guys, ya know?
Justin- Right.
MJ- We're clear channel. We have uh, three billion radio stations in the
country. We know how to get ahold of the management. We'll get ahold of
Justin! We'll get the drivers license back, and all Melba said was "Listen I
just wanna get some autographed pictures for my kids." Isn't that nice? She
didn't wanna make a buck of this thing!
Justin- That's, That's, That's...we...That's we can cover that easily!
Melba-Thank You!
MJ- So you're gonna promise Melba and her kids some stuff right Justin?
Justin- I PROMISE!
MJ- Alright Melba hang on a second alright? Alright that's covered! Alright
MAN! Listen I appreciate you calling in, a couple other things. How are
things with you and Britney?
Justin- (In a voice like he was upset that he asked him) Finnnne.
MJ- Alright, I, cause I was just curious how the relationship was going.
Everything...*interrupted*
Justin- (sarcastically) Oh EVERYONE is!
MJ- Are you still dating?
Justin- Yup.
MJ- Alright cause there were a couple of rumors that I had heard that you
guys might be...cooling off a little bit, or? But everything is ok?
Justin- Everything's perfect.
MJ- When was the last time you saw Britney?
Justin- (pause) Uhhhhhhhhh, it was a couple of....days ago.
MJ- Marriage possibilities??
Justin- (HUUUUUGE ASS Pause..doesn't say anything.)
MJ- What do you think?
Justin- Oh, that was cool, I gave you the silent treatment!!
MJ- Yeah...come on. Don't, don't!!!!
(Everyone starts talking at the same time, and I don't know what the hell
they're saying! )
MJ- Yeah, that doesn't work well with the radio man!
(Justin laughs)
MJ- You guys, no seriously, you guys talking about getting...
Justin- We, We are happily together and that's...that's....all I'm gonna
say!
MJ- Okay, one other part of the deal. I must be invited to the wedding if
you get married in order for you to get the drivers license back!
(Justin laughs)
Froggy- Justin the deal never ends!!
Justin- Yeah!
MJ- I'm gonna start adding, I'm gonna start adding conditions that are
(something, didn't understand what he said!) For the next 10 minutes!
(Justin laughs)
Froggy- Justin's gonna tell you, you can HAVE that drivers license!
Justin- I know, exactly!!!
MJ- No!!! No!!!
Froggy- Save me the hassle. Just keep the damn thing!
Justin- It might be worth it!
MJ- We're giving him the drivers license back! Alright dude.
Justin- Thanks a lot guys!
MJ- I mean you've had a heck of a ride! Nsync..uhh...amazingly successful!
What was the final count on the first week of album sales? Like 2 million?
Justin- Uhh, it was CLOSE to so....I think it was a little...
Froggy- Yeah, it was like 1.9 or 1.98 or something. It was damn close to 2.
Justin- Yeah, something like that, so...
MJ- That is amazing.
Justin- It's cool mayun! It's nice to...(in a cute voice) that people still
like us!!!!!!!
MJ- Yeah, they still like ya man! Hey do me a favor before you roll...just
say "Hey, This is Justin Timberlake, and you're listening to the MJ Morning
Show...who found my drivers license!"
Justin- (pause) Ready?
MJ- Ya, anytime, we're rolling man!
Justin- Hey This is Justin Timberlake, and you're listening to the MJ
Morning Show...the finders of my drivers license! Thank you SOOO much
guys!!!"
MJ- Beautiful. Alright Justin.
Justin- Alright Man!
MJ- Have a beautiful day!
Justin- You guys take care! And uhhh, make sure you get with J.R.!
MJ- Ohh, uhh, as far as getting this thing back to you?
Justin- Well, No, No, No, as far as getting the autographs!
MJ- Oh oh, okay, so J.R. is the autograph guy!
Justin- Yeah
MJ- Alright my program director, Taco Boy, is shaking his head. So he knows.
Justin- Koo.
MJ- Alright, it's 10 o clock so uh, go to EBAY right now, and do search on
Justin Timberlake drivers license.
Justin- (laughs) See! You can't trust ANYBODY!!!
MJ- I'm just kidding Justin. Thanks for coming on the show!
Justin- Thanks guys!
MJ- Buhbye!
Justin- Alright. (hangs up)
MJ- Alright there ya go...Justin Timberlake.
Froggy- He's VERY cool!!
MJ- VERY cool guy!!
