I would like to suggest the following changes to the order and its requirements:
1. I'm not much of a fez wearer myself - it messes up my hair ;), so I'd like to change the name of this order to the Order of the Golden Scabbard.
2. Members have acquired their SoLL and their bandit-hilted sword and publicly wield their bandits.
3. SUPERLATIVE REQUIREMENT: Advanced members of the Golden Scabbard may become Gilded Guard by completing the requirements for the SoLH. Gilded Guards publicly wield their prized Swords of Lost Hope at all times.
I am asking that guild members please vote on the following:
1. Approve/disapprove name change
2. Approve/disapprove requirement change
3. Approve/disapprove superlative requirement
Also, I would like to add that I have fulfilled the basic requirements for membership of the Order of the Golden Scabbard. As the first GG member who can fulfill the requirements to join this order, I would also like to step up and be recognized as Leader of the Order.
Please approve/disapprove my status as Leader, Order of the Golden Scabbard. At such time as I am able to complete the superlative requirements, I will then ask to be recognized as Gilded Guard.

Regarding Bard's statement, "You could join ANY group at any time, but to be a true member with a vote and to use the title you had to pass the tests."
...I'd like to make a motion that, because we haven't all chosen our order and been recognized as having passed the tests, each poster on this message board be given a vote.
Once everyone has given consideration to the orders, their requirements and applied for recognition as an order member, at that time, votes should be open to order members (if there is more than one member in each order) and/or guild council members.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE ONLY MADE (other than the actual copy editing) CHANGES TO THE ORDER IN WHICH I BELONG BELOW. I do have suggestions for the other orders, too, but will make them once I am recognized as an order and a council member. If approved, it will read as follows:

The various Guild Goldensword ordershave distinguishing marks and quests for official entry. Members may join ANY group at any time, but to be a true member with a vote and to use the title, members must to pass the tests.
*Crooked Grin: Master traders, the "something for nothing" test (as explained earlier). Crooked Grin members wear Virindi masks.
*Order of the Badde Axxe: Axe swingers. Complete the highest quality Silifi of Crimson Stars. Members qualify for highest entry when three rubies are embedded in the SoCS. Badde Axxe members publicly wield the SoCS.
*Order of the Golden Scabbard: Swordslingers. (1) Golden Scabbard members have acquired their SoLL and their bandit-hilted sword and publicly wield their bandits. (2) SUPERLATIVE REQUIREMENT: Advanced members of the Golden Scabbard may become Gilded Guard by completing the requirements for the SoLH. Gilded Guards publicly wield their prized Swords of Lost Hope at all times.
*The Bonecrushers: Macewielders. Members complete their Stinging Atlan Mace (olthoi are weak against bashing, but humans are weak against olthoi). Bonecrushers publicly wear an olthoi helm and wield the mace.
*Order of the Flaming Fist: Unarmed brawlers. Members have acquired Hamud's pyreal katar quest. Flaming Fists publicly wield the katar and wear the Sho heritage mask.
*The Stillettos: Dagger wielders. Members have acquired Gertarh's Dagger or later Oswald's Dagger. Stilletto members publicly wield Oswald's Dagger and wear the Aluvian heritage mask.
*Brotherhood of the Oak: Staff swingers. No one but members knows their test, but it had to do with the tumerok fortresses in the dires. Later it became the formation of the staff of the nomads. Brothers publicly wear the Gharundim heritage mask.
*The Windseekers: Archers. Members create the highest quality composite bow/crossbow. Windseekers publicly wield composites.
*Locals: Mules. Members are mules with useful tradeskills.
*The Acolytes: Mages. In the presence of other Acolytes, a mage is taken to the Obsidian Plains Black Spawn Den and must simultaneously solo numerous tusker guards. All of the tuskers are lured by the Brotherhood casting war magic PROTECTS, then entering the dungeon, leaving incoming mage the target. Alcolytes return one minute later and count the dead tuskers; ten dead tuskers qualifies for entry. Acolytes publicly wear mattekar or Gelidite robes.
*The Guild Goldensword High Council is comprised of the leaders of each order.
