I think the one thing we all agree on is that the D is a unique car - we like it because it isn't the same thing everybody else drives, but at the same time that plays against the customisation aspect, because nobody is willing to make parts for a car that didn't sell in a huge volume (or at least not and have those parts made at an economical cost).

Does anybody else think our community could benefit from a new site and better forum? I don't have any idea who originally started this site or whether they still participate, but it hasn't been updated in a very, very long time - and the forum is slow and awkward (no decent search feature, for one thing).

I have a large amount of server space and bandwidth available, and working on the web full-time have the know-how to make a good site - however I know that a number of people have tried to start new Diamante forums fairly unsuccessfully in the past. Would it be worth my while to set up a site, and perhaps call on a few of our regulars to help with forum moderation, etc.? What does anybody think?
