Hey other D owners, I have a 93 and I can completely understand why Harry would just give up on this car. I have been with my car for about 2 yrs now and every problem imaginable has happened. However, in these 2 yrs ive sank too much money into this car on rims, a system, and other various upgrades to just give up on it. I'm proud to have a car that nobody has, let alone modifies. I've searched high and low for decent, quality aftermarket parts without much luck, much like everyone else here. I do not see much sense spending hundreds of dollars on pretty beemer lights, but do have an interest in some performance parts, like a cold air intake, headers, anything to throw some balls on this car, or at least make it sound like it has some testicles. I'd be more than interested in parts to make this car perform better. The D is already a nice lookin car, and with everyone who wants to make it a head-turner working together, im sure we could get respect from aftermarket parts companies, regular people on the streets, and most important of all, get a feeling of accomplishment within ourselves for having a car truly one-of-a-kind customized.
