It's a bit sad something like this happened, low gas mileage and poor performance generally means something is wrong, worn compression rings, worn bearings etc (leaving the hand brake on, ha ha). Dumping a car and then spitting on it is not really the best way. Sorry things turn out bad but these cars have potential. imagine how fast a Honda Acura will go with the suped up D's donk in it. It would be one of the faster Auras about. The D is a heavish luxury type car, though far from the heaviest, the Acura is a light run about in comparison.
I'm just wondering what he is comparing it to.
I have a turbo charged Skyline as well as the DOHC 92 Diamante.
Both are pretty quick, but I can't compair them due to the power curves are very different and body weights are to different.
If I want power on tap with the skyline it's got to be over 3.5 grand on the tacho, the D's a bit different and hence drive it differently. Sorry I drifted of the mark. Something must have been wrong with the engine, engine management, drive train...
