Two pairs of Koratian eyes go wide at TFD's unexpected familiarity with the canine. Akartis sniffs the air carefully, then shakes the feeling of d�j� vu off. Collie, his friend's father, his role model, the male Canoid Guardian, is dead or gone. This young female is probably related to him, though her smell is subtly different from the Canoid smell. Maybe a younger cousin, a sister, or even his daughter. Gu, icy blue eyes expressionless, takes his cue from his older brother and doesn't react to the strange scene. Akartis returns Collie's look, not blankly but not with any particular feel to his gaze. And at Ayrist's inquiring look, he gives her a Koratian shrug, flicking an ear to punctuate the movement. The entrance of the second Aya gets a startled look from Akartis -since when was there more than one Aya on Terole?!- but Gu takes in her arrival with calm indifference, and Akartis smooths his disgruntled muzzle into neutrality. Once Redwood arrives, then all will be fine. Or close, anyways. And where is Mystery Deathsong during all this?
