The violet femme, at first taken by surprise by the obvious scent of another Canis with the coming of Redwood, had adjusted her joy to a tail wag and nod in Washi's direction. Ears remained perked as both Governor and son spoke, but at the mention of Sake's passing ears flick back against her head... but are forced upright again at an obvious cringe from Ayrist's ebon form. She took a whiff. Sake's scent was on her. She'd seen her recently. Seleth sighed... knowing how painful that might be for the Koratian femme. She breathed again, tracing a scent she'd only vaguely caught at first, and had wanted to smell since Akartis had shared the news with her. The smell of new life.

Once both speeches are complete Seleth waits patiently for a turn to speak, keeping one ear perked to what others had to say, and both eyes open to everything else. Special attention was given to Washi. She'd never admit it but she was incredibly glad to have a fellow Canis on planet. And to have one of your own species next to you when forced to recieve bad news, especially after being stranded without wolfenbyrd for so long... Seleth closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying a few seconds of bliss that came from pack instinct vaguely fufilled. Light orbs open slowly and unwillingly, but Seleth returns to reality, one ear curving easily to her left. She was quite interested in what the "trainee" had to say. Her scents were quite... interesting.

Esaki watched as attentively as many of the others. She knew not this Sake, and if no sorrow was to be shown according to a Korat, she would show none in Koratian. A drop of wings was given in Canis respect for the dead. She gives a tail flick at the Governors powerful inquiry. Esaki then opens powerful jaws to speak... then closes them forcefully as Collie starts conversation. She waits again. She seemed to always be waiting. Aj... the training in patience does me well. An ear twitched as the golden dog finished her speech and lay down. She turned her huge form to face the governor, by this point her answer thought out.

"I am Esaki. A Korisva from... a planet. I am sorry I cannot tell you the name of this planet, for it is from a much later time... As am I. One of you here will have great influence on this planet, and therefore, I cannot speak it's name, for fear of disrupting the past and destroying the future. I can tell you however, that my kind was genetically engineered from the blood of a Korat, a Canis, and a Derrva... A species that is not well known to you but resides on the planet of Khraen. I am not an Original, but go along the basic lines of what you might call... one of the First Fifty. As to why I am here, Terole is well known to us of the future for being a planet of brave warriors and powerful leaders. I came here to train using a portal created my one of my friends. We Korisvas have adopted through the years many customs, traditions, and abilities of our ancestors. Portal-making is one of these abilities. But ending my explanation, Devan has obliged me by becoming my trainer. Now that there is a war on... I wish only to help and fight for the planet which has so helped me."

She finished her conclusion with a step back and a deep bow of her head to both Governor and son. Devan flicked an ear as his one and only sign of approval for her introduction. Then, he turned his eyes to the Governor. He never had been quite sure of how she would take this. Nor... was he ever sure... of how she would take anything! But Devan shook the tenseness from him with the slow stretching of his whip-tail. Redwood was just.

Ayrist had perhaps never been so utterly shocked in all her life. Sake was gone. A Canis in her place. A War was beginning. A creature who smelled of Korat and Canis stood before her. She was pregnant with cubs of both Redwood and Ana's Line. Her mate was troubled by pain of the past. Redood had approved of her. A silent flicker of her eyes was given on that last bit of her tangled thoughts. Though the time was not right to speak it aloud, mentally she made a vow that she would continue on Redwood's Line proudly and well. Her silver blade curved protectively to one side, and with a quiet rumble to affirm her promise, she turned her attention to the rest of the speakers.

Seleth stepped forward after Esaki had finished and cleared her throat to gain attention. "If I may speak." *Violet eyes gazed at all around her* "If we have no allies to speak of... And we know of no new allies that can be gained... May I suggest we look to old alliances? As well as somehow gaining contact with the Lavanian forces currently fighting. Through the stranded Olashi's com unit perhaps? My thoughts are thus. If we are to fight these Drakka... we must all fight as one. We are currently very much spread apart... Two different planets' forces fighting alone. However if we combine our forces with Lavana's, we might come closer to matching these Drakka in number, and stand a better chance then fighting in two seperate groups. *she takes a breath then continues* My other suggestion is that those who cannot fight work on finding new sorts of technology that can help us to defeat these Drakkan Yellow and Blackships. If the only effective weapon is an anti-matter gun that's hard to reproduce... the only answer I see is find a new effective gun!" *The Canis shakes her head, calming herself with the simple movement.* "I have spoken far too much. Please consider my suggestions, change them as you see fit, and feel free to add any of your own."
