Not too much commentary on these selections. I think they're fairly straight forward and easy to understand, even for a dumb ass like you.

Best Wrestler: Victor "Big Hurt" Manson
Runner Up: "Sexy" Steve Sire

Manson has the most impressive resume of any NWC wrestler, and all signs were pointing towards an NWC Heavyweight Title shot at AEL2 until Matt had to take some time off for personal reasons. Now Matt's back, and I say that he's due a shot.

Sire had a title reign second only to White Tiger, and only by a few days at that. Sire never lost the title in the ring, and for a good while held the NWC in his hands.

Best Tag Team: The Upper Echelon (Atlas & Pride)
Runner Up (2): The Black Ops (Croc & Cobra) & Outlanders (Leever & Pierce)

While not falling under the typical definition of a tag team, Atlas and Pride had, by far, the most impressive reign of any team in the NWC. Hell, they were so good, they could only be defeated by a group of nervous fed heads (face it kids, we all fucked up on that one).

As for The Black Ops and the Outlanders, I've got a ton of respect for both teams, and both are deserving of votes in this category.

Best Cruiserweight: Lightning
Runner Up: Peter Aerts

Hopefully this award will go to the best wrestler who has actually fought in the cruiserweight division, not the best wrestler who happens to be under 235.

That being said, and as much as I'd like to think I deserve this award, props go to Lightning for bringing some excitement to the J-Crown (the most inappropriately named title in e-wrestling). Aerts would be a closer second if he hadn't tucked tail and run after doing the job in his first legit title defense.

Most Popular Wrestler: Hunter Sabuani
Runner Up: Damon Hayes

Honestly, who cares? Faces are so passe.

Most Hated Wrestler: Mr. Sinister
Runner Up (2): Tony Pride & Steve Sire

When I think heel, I think Mr. Sinister. Sure, I think Pride and Sire, but I think Sinister first. :-)

Most Improved: Meltdown
Runner Up: Lightning

Best Newcomer: "The Freshmaker" Devo Tremors
Runner Up: Verio Divine

Best Manager/Valet: None

I'll leave the imaginary tit & ass voting to the kids.

Outstanding Feud: Meltdown vs. Jimmy "Pretty Boy" Floyd
Runner Up: UE vs. PoA (Not)

Outstanding Weekly Show: SCCW Snake Eyes
Runner Up: MWA Genocide

Spokesman's Trophy: James "911" Hill
Runner Up: God from the FWI Commons

I guess I should make some statement along the lines of "I know I shouldn't vote for myself, but...". However, I deserve it. Hook me up, or I'll start quoting Scott Steiner.

Greatest Match: NWC World Heavyweight Champion Victor "Big Hurt" Mason vs. White Tiger in an Ozark Mountain Rules Match (That's a psychic prediction, folks.)
Runner Up: UE vs. PoA (Not)

Greatest Regional PPV: LSW Face Off At High Noon II
Runner Up: IWCW Anal Intrusion IV (After all, they take it up the ass from the NWC on a daily basis.)

The (You're So) Special Awards

TRUE DEDICATION AWARD (REGION HEADS): Matt (SCCW)
Runner Up (2): Al Lucente (MCW) & David Cooper (LSW)

NWC STAFFER PLAQUE (NWC STAFF): Marcus
Runner Up: Nick

Outstanding Matchwriter Award: Marcus
Runner Up: Jay & Joe

Excellence in Creativity Award: Everyone

I know, it's a lame answer. However, everyone around here is very creative, even Zamza.

The Handler's Trophy: Jay
Runner Up: M. J.

Would have voted for M. J., but he got an extra, unearned, title reign.
