Greetings,

Let me introduce myself. My name is Keith Batterton. I work behind the scenes with Tom. We wanted to answer a question that we are beginning to see frequently in e-mails. Please read the following and if you have any further question please fill free to contact me via the listed e-mail address.

How to Submit a Story to the Tom Cup Library for review

All stories submitted are reviewed by myself, and a select few of Library reviewers, before being sent to Mr. Cup for final approval for inclusion in the Library. You may submit your story within the body of your e-mail or as an attached file (we prefer attachments in Word, or Plain Text formats). Do not be concerned with type face, formatting, itaclizing, etc., as this will be done by our editors should your story be accepted.

How are stories judge?

Stories are judged based on style and content. Stories with well thought out plot lines, full characters, and promising style will have the best chance of making it to Mr. Cup. Mr. Cup will then contact those authors directly. The library is not interested in the following types of stories:

1) Stories that have been previously published or archived via another internet site or any other source.

2)Stories with only sexual content. Stories may include sexual content but stories that only describe sexual activity will be rejected and never make it to Mr. Cup's desk.

3) Stories that require excessive editing. We are not here to rewrite stories. If there are a few mistakes here and there in the story the editors will correct them. Excessive mistakes means your story will be rejected.

In what types of stories is the Library most interested?

The Tom Cup Library is interested in any story that would fall under the category of "Alternative Lifestyle." This includes, but is not limited to: gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and polyamoury. Themes may range from simple romance to sci-fi, fantasy, mystery or horror. The Library accepts both short story and serial works.

What are the benefits of having my story in the Tom Cup Library?

Readership and feedback. For the nescent writer there is no better resource than a writer that has cut his own path through the literary community. Mr. Cup has continued to surprise critics with the range and depth of his work. Contributing writers learn directly from Mr. Cup's expriences, gain tips on story and character development and reach a readership looking for well written, polished, material. Mr. Cup is available to contributing writers via e-mail, IM and chatroom meetings.

K.B.
