Other than what I said before, I think Shawn Brennan will be a terrific AD. He was an outstanding person to work with when he was an sports information director at Iona and the assistant commissioner for the MAAC. He's young, energetic and really is a people person. Shawn's most valuable asset, though, may be his wife, Kara, who also works at Iona. Shawn is a great listener who is willing to take suggestions. He's such a nice guy that some coaches might think they'll be able to walk all over him. But Shawn won't allow that to happen, I assure you. In short, I don't think they could have chosen a better person to succeed Rich Petriccione, who we all know, has done a truly outstanding job at Iona.
