Dear QS:
So we're talking about 8 more years. Hopefully, I can retire before Jeff's tenure runs out.
A: 5 more titles in 8 years under Ruland.
B: Ruland leaving after another title or two to hook on with some pro team as an assistant in 3 or 4 years.
C: I'd say probably 2 or 3 titles in 6-8 years and Jeff riding into the sunset knowing that he did a good job, the program is in good shape and a couple of his daughters have graduated from Iona. If he leaves early, it'll be interesting to see who takes over. When Jeff's name surfaced with the Seton Hall job, a little birdie told me that Ron Ganulin of St. Francis NY was a leading candidate to replace him.
