I just think there's too much competition on cable right now with big-time college games for local cable companies to put on MAAC games. Some people might watch Iona-Niagara, but not if it's up against Duke-UNC. Marist has some cable tv games (home) and I guess they do quite well. But that's Poughkeepsie and they really support that college because there are no pro teams nearby. Iona used to have some selected games on cable, but not for a while. Like anything else, it'll work if it attracts advertisers. I think the better way to draw interest is getting games on ESPN, MSG and ESPN2. They reach a wider viewing audience, by far.
