Subject: Crisp curnch of the autumn leaves

Slowly stepping within the darkened wood close to dawn's morning light, you hear meniscal sounds like the crisp and crunch of last autumns leaves that blanked the forest floor. Soon the leaves gave way beneath her paws with each step she took with a crisp-crunch-snap. Her breathing was steady and calm with all her keen senses alert. You feel at one with her almost feeling her heart pounding with in her chest. The air was still and her motions where of a dark silent shadow creeping along the landscape. Upon her first arrival before she was an early run away from the Wildlife Center Breeding program to restore her wolf subspecies to the wild. She returned to seek out one wolf who befriended her. Reaching the edge of the woods she halts and her ears and eyes scan the area nervously unsure where to look. Her appearance was unclean from traveling. Hair dusty and wind blown, twigs on her legs and her dew wetted paws obviously shown she was tired.
