"Toya! Please!" She sighed again, feeling just...horrible. She thought she might cry, but of course not in front of Toya. She didn't want him to see her like that... "I did like talking to him, you know." She said, her tone soft and worn. "I just...would have rather been talking to you." She admitted, flushing slightly. "You listen to me, and although your comments are sometimes...scathing, they are only honest with what you are feeling. It is comforting. I do not have to pretend around you, and you do not hide your opinions from me." She took a step closer, still looking down, unable to meet his fierce eyes as she spoke the words that had plauged her heart for so long. "I am tired, Toya...tired of pretending to be strong. I am not. Don't I deserve friends? Perhaps I don't, but I don't want to be alone anymore, and I don't want you to go." She then said, very softly, "I just wanted to tell you, even if it won't change your decision to leave."
