A piece of friendly advice for all jobseekers like moi...

There's this organisation advertising job vacancies for "Management Trainees".. no need for minimum qualifications nor experience. SOunds too good to be true.. there's a catch... You start out as a door-to-door sales person and work your way up to trainer... to project head... speed of which depending on ur "performance"...

Seriously... that's NOT MANAGEMENT! Well.. one could say it IS their marketing strategy and to be a manager, one would have to learn the ropes from bottom up.... All i can say is.... Bah! I'd rather not....

The important stuff... THese companies (APPCO, E-Fx Advertising, Granton, etc) are part of a network of companies under "THe CObra Group" (www.cobragroup.com), a UK based company with turnover of half a billion USD$... which they repeat countlessly as if justification was needed. Besides... their office looks like a sleazy karaoke lounge... tsk tsk... forgive me for being a little sore ranting....it was a total waste of my precious time. I hope u guys dun "fall" for it. Unless of course direct sales is your cuppa tea? :)

meanwhile... good luck to all!!!! and tis true... watever grade we got doesn't matter... at least not to the private companies! HOpe u get ur dream jobs... i'm patiently waiting for the Esplanade to start recruitment!

*dream dream*

Oh yes, i lurvvve durians....
