There in the great moonlight of the rickety forests' tree line hobbled the black mare.
Her golden red horn died down into it's normal blackish red color. Her eyes scanned the horizon. Bruised, battered, and tired from the long journey she managed to make it.
The witch would awaken, no doubt about that. And there was even more of a chance that the witch would find out about the second unicorn. Surely the harpy would emit her evil squawk and awaken the twisted zoo.
Her velvet like fur shuddered in the cold and twisted dementia before her. Chains upon chains, rows of rows. Columns after columns of cages filled with uncanny creatures. The harder Leusicous looked at the creatures though, the more she realized they had been physically altered to look that way. For a unicorn was of pure magic and could see past anything phony. She emitted a low murmur as she found a griffon. Her eyes locked onto the harpy and she eyed it with uncertanty.
"Pele' must be near." she thought to herself.
Then there, just around the corner stood the magnificent beast. MOre beautiful than the sunrise, more radiant than the ocean. Her pele'. The stag of sunrise stood. Leuscious kept her distance yet nickered to catch his attention.
"Pele', my love. I am here." She messaged to him telepathically. Keeping hidden from view she awaited his response.
