Author: The Unknown
Subject: Living A Life of Darkness

The scene opens up as The Unknown slowly walks down a quiet, dark street. His feet make a loud clicking sound against the cracked sidewalk from every step he took in his huge leather boots. His long trench coat blows back from the wind, making a waving motion. The Unknown continues walking through the night with his head down in an effort to shield his face from the wind. A car passes by, splashing water on him. Though he continues walking as if nothing happened. He crosses the nearly abandoned street and heads down a dark alley. A black cat cuts in front of him and leaps into a near by trash can. The Unknown ignores the creature and heads toward the end of the alley. He reaches a door at the end of the alley. He slowly opens it, going inside the dark, damp room. He turns on the lights and is surprised to see a cameraman in the same room with him. The Unknown sits down on a wooden crate across from the cameraman and looks out the window.

Unknown: How did you get in here?

Cameraman: Same way you did. I went through the door. It's not smart to keep your door unlocked.

(The Unknown turns toward the cameraman)

Unknown: No one knows of this place.

Cameraman: MCW kind of found out some secrets about you. Including where you live. I was assigned to you, so they showed me where you stayed at.

Unknown: How do they know so much about me?

Cameraman: That's the way it is in the industry.

Unknown: I guess times have changed. Back in my day, MCW would only know what you put on the paper.

Cameraman: Yea, I guess so.

(A rat runs across the floor and under a crate)

Unknown: So I guess your here to harass me with questions?

Cameraman: That's my job.

Unknown: Let me ask you a question. Do you ever think about how wrestlers feel when they are constantly asked questions? What do you think of your opponent? Why do you think you lost the match? Why do you love going through tables? Why do you wanna be the Heavyweight Champion? That's all you guys do.

Cameraman: Well..
Unknown: Where do you live?

Cameraman: In California.....um

Unknown: do you have a wife?

Cameraman: uh...yea..

Unknown: do you have children?

Cameraman: no

Unknown: well how about you get out of my face and go make some children. Maybe that will keep you out of my hair for a while.

Cameraman: But Mr, I need this interview.

Unknown: What is it you could possible ask me? Are you afraid of people finding out who you are? Who are you? Why did you get back into MCW. Why were you depressed? Why did you get out of MCW two years ago? What do you plan on doing to Thurman in your match? It's the same questions asked over and over.

Cameraman: How come I always see you at night? Why do you never come out at day?

(The Unknown sits there speechless. He stares back out the window as if he were looking for the answer.)

Unknown: My aunt died a year and a half ago. I never really knew my parents. I was told that they both died in a car accident when I was only two. My aunt took care of me throughout my whole childhood. She brought me up to be the man I am today. The thing that was so strange about it was that she was able to raise me on her own. She treated me as if I were her own child. When she died, I never wanted to see daylight again. I wanted to feel, see, and be "dark", because that is all the dead sees. In order to get closer to my Aunt I fell that I must never see sunlight again, being dark and humble for the rest of my life. I never wanted to tell anybody this, but that is one of the reasons why I got back into MCW. I'm doing it for my Aunt. That Cruiserweight hardcore title means a lot to me. It means so much to me that I will do almost anything to obtain it. I'll do anything to make my aunt proud of me. I will jump off ladders, fall on thumbtacks, and even wrap myself in barbed wire. Whatever it takes to win, I'll do it. Even if it means putting my career in jeopardy, or putting my life on the line. Thurman, you may think that you know who I am. If you do, good for you, but during the match I will surely remind you. Just try to think back of who I am as your body goes flying through a burning table. All of your fans may have been rasing havoc from you not getting into the last card, but they surly will be disappointed when their "hero" is down in a bloody mess. I will paint the ring with your blood. I will shine my championship belt with you sweat. Then I will walk away as the victor. The whole world will be shocked at seeing your crippled body laying on the ground, but in the end they will finally know who I am. I will walk away the champion, having the satisfaction of finally tasting the spilled blood from your unconscious body. Be afraid Thurman, because after the Pay-Per-View, your career will come to a screeching halt as your body hits the mat hard for the last time of your life.

(The Unknown turns off the light and storms out the door. The cameraman tries to catch up, but he loses sight of him as the Unknown vanishes in the night.
