Death follows life
In due time they meet
And he's returned to the living now
To do harm upon the weak

Sent to his grave so long ago
For the horror he had caused
Slaughtering for the past ten years
Murdering without pause

Texas was always his home
Where he fulfilled his every need
Preying on the innocent
Taking apart their bodies as he pleased

Brought back to life now
By forces gone unknown
No one will be safe
At least not for very long

He sits up suddenly
Quickly looks around
Nothing but aging stones
Senses a distant, noiseless sound

Knowing what he has to do
What his destiny is
The time has now come
Their lives will be his

**Having the time of their lives
Out for a weekend of fun
Not knowing death is lurking
And they might not see the sun**

Slipping through the woods
Blade shining in the moonlight
Sharp as a razor
Ready to claim lives

Seeing his first victims
Coming into sight
Watching them so patiently
Eyes turning black as night

**Two horny teenagers
Chasing each other out of love
He grabs her by the shirt
Dragging her into a hug

Falling to the ground
Clothes flying everywhere
Hands roaming over bodies
He pulls back her hair

Entering her sweet wetness
Shoving in so deep
Hearing her gasping moans
Bodies so full of heat**

Walking up slowly
Never being seen
Shoving the blade through them
Smiling from her frightened scream

Her lover flops down on top of her
His body pinning her to the ground
The knife is pushed deeper
She dies with a gurgling sound

Leaving them to bleed
Splashing through the blood and gore
In search of his next victim
He's so hungry for more

Slowly walking up to the cabin
Time is of no concern
The look on his face, horrid
So deadly, so stern

Ripping the wire from the wall
Shutting off all the lights
This is his wicked kind of game
In his mind it feels so right

**Deciding only a fuse has blown
Feeling her nails dig into his arm
He laughs with nervousness
Praying no cause for alarm

Needing to go check the box
She doesn't want him to go
Fear coarsing through her
Death is waiting, they just don't know

Walking slowly toward the door
Stumbling over chairs
Turning around suddenly
Hearing creaking on the stairs

Asking him, "What was that?"
Telling her, "I don't know."
Seeing the silhouette appear
Knowing now it's time to go

Seeing the blade in his hand
Dripping with so much blood
Dragging her through the door
Running toward the woods

Moving so very fast
Pulling her to his side
Helping her to keep up
Ignoring her horrified cries

Stopping to catch their breath
Not knowing where they are
Noticing two bodies off to the right
Stepping over to see who they are

Turning away, sickened
Pulling her into his chest
Not wanting her to see their friends
Shielding her from the bloody mess

Feet trampling through the leaves
Feeling he is coming near
Trying to pull her along faster
She won't move, frozen with fear

Realizing danger is closing in
Materializing into view
She will not break from her trance
He doesn't know what to do

Commanding her, "Move now, go!"
Pleading for her to come along
She only stands still, so scared
She will soon hear death's song

Searching to see where he is
"Get off your ass, damn you!" is what he yells
Seeing the blade suddenly move up
Coming down through the top of her head

Tripping, falling on his back
Seeing the knife sticking out of her head
Looking into the eyes of the killer
See not life, but death instead

Jumping up to flee
Moving as fast as he can go
Through limbs, the woods, a stream
To where, he doesn't know

Not knowing what to do
Finding nowhere to hide
Prays to the Lord above
"Dear God, I don't want to die."

Losing his breath rapidly
Stumbling to the ground
Pulling himself to his knees
Hearing death's closing sound

Tears streaming down his face
Crying so very hard
Running through his mind
'My death isn't far'

Mustering strength, getting up
Flung around so quickly
Face to face with the murderer
The look on his face, so wicked

Feeling the blade go in
Such a sharp pain in his gut
Insides starting to spill
Agony as the knife is jerked up

Sinking to his knees
Falling to the ground
Life flowing from his body
Never making another sound**

Standing over his victim
Tonight's deed is done
Summoned back to his grave
Before the rising of the sun

Another time will be right
Another night will come
Death has returned to Texas
He will once again have his fun

"Do not fear
Do not fright
The man from Texas
Will always have you in his sight"
