In reply to: Lucifa 's message, "*She comes to the calling of the dragon, and laxes against him*" on 15:29:07 09/05/02 Thu

Shadowed hatchling races back and forth across the beach, unaware of his parents nearby. A keen eye can see the gray hatchling running after a rather large crab, attemping to tackle it and then turning and fleeing then the crab turns on him, chasing him across the beach. Over and over the scene repeats itself. Finally maw closes over the crab and he drags it up the beach, struggling with the creature more than half his size. Spots Lucifa and Trajedi and prances around for a moment before pulling the crab up to them. Presents it proudly to the femme, ignoring small scratches and cuts along his slender body.

I caught it for you, all by myself.

Hatchling grinns stupidly and plops down at the males taloned feet, still breathing hard. Quite an ordeal for the little male. He had never experienced a crab before. He groans sofly and rolls over, revealing a rather nasty scrape.

Ouch, they should call them snappers. Stupid crab.

Grins once more and kicks some sand at the dead creature. He had definetly go tthe best of that red snapper...
