>>I would be interested in any information about my grandfather Alexander Bulloch who married Mary Wilson Graham in Kilsyth. They had the following children James Graham, Gabriel, Mary (Polly),Margaret, Ann and Alexander. My grandfather died in 1923 and my Grandmother died in 1949. I have quite a lot of info regarding the Graham side of the famly but little to nothing on the Bulloch side. I believe they were married in the Old parish Church. Margaret was my mother and she came to Canada as a war bride married to my father a Canadian soldier. She emigrated in 1946 and sailed from Southampton on the Queen Mary which was still part troop ship and wearing her battleship greys. I have a feeling that my grandfather came from Banton but cannot be sure. Does anyone have any information about the family. Altough born in the Park Burn Rd. that family later moved to the Cross House at the top of Main Street. At that point my Uncle Jim had been appointed Manager of the Co-Operative Society and a home came with the job. My Uncle Jim and his family resided there until his retirement from the Society. I also understand that my grandfather was pipe major in the Kilsyth Thistle Pipe Band. His son Alexander presented the current pipe band some time ago with a mace in memory of his father Alexander Bulloch. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thank
