Altough born in the Park Burn Rd. that family later moved to the Cross House at the top of Main Street. At that point my Uncle Jim had been appointed Manager of the Co-Operative Society and a home came with the job. My Uncle Jim and his family resided there until his retirement from the Society. I also understand that my grandfather was pipe major in the Kilsyth Thistle Pipe Band. His son Alexander presented the current pipe band some time ago with a mace in memory of his father Alexander Bulloch. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.
