Looking for father-in laws brother who was adopted while quite young. Here is a copy of a letter which we posted to some Murdochs in England in hope to track him down.

Hello,
Our names are Glen and Sandra Murdoch and we hope that you will take the time to read this letter, and maybe you may be able to help us to track down our father / father-in laws brother.
Through the Internet we found your address along with other W. Murdoch�s addresses in and around the Birmingham area, which is the last place where we can place our uncle, about 5 years ago.
Our father / father-in law is Archibald Murdoch, and he is trying to track down his brother, William [Billy] Murdoch.
We haven't many details but hopefully what we have may be enough for you to be able to place his family.

Parents are:- George Alexander Murdoch, Died 1953/4
Helen Murdoch [Cowan], Died Late 1900's

Children are:- 1. Archibald Murdoch, Born 23rd April, 1940
2. William Murdoch, Born 9th? May, 1941
3. Jean Murdoch, Born ? June, 1942. Died 7th / 10th June, 199?
4. Betty Murdoch, Born ? Dec, 1943
5. John Murdoch, Born ? ??? 1944/5 Adopted out as a baby

All 5 children were placed in the Tanker'ha orphanage at Kilmarnoch [ which was run by the Church of Scotland] at a young age, where they were raised. Archie left Scotland in1959 to come to Australia, therefore loosing contact with his family. He now has his own family here with a wife, 5 children, and 9 Grand-children, but still has the thoughts of his own family which he left in Scotland.
He has found out that Billy was married with 2 children [girls we think], but has since divorced and moved to Birmingham where he re-married.
I know that this isn�t much to go on, but hopefully you may be able to place this man or maybe give us a new lead to follow. If there is anything you know please feel free to contact us.

If anyone can please help me in my search for this man, it would be grealtly appreciated.
