I am seeking information on James McPherson who had a son, Donald McPherson about 1660 in Inverness, Scotland. Donald McPherson married Janet Cuthbert about 1685 in Inverness and his Father is James McPherson, but there is no other information on James. Donald and Janet had a son, Donnaidh (Daniel) McPherson on 10 Dec 1692 in the vicinity of Inverness, Scotland; Donnaidh died March 1755 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA. Does anyone's research include these ancestors? I have traced the line from these McPhersons all the way to myself - thank you for any help you may lend to my search for James McPherson and beyond.
