My ggggrandfather William Harper was born in Craigs County Antrim, Ireland on July 29, 1798. He married Margaret ? on June 6, 1818 in Ireland. They moved to Fairfield District, South Carolina and he became a citizen Nov. 12, 1828. He died in Pickens Co., Alabama on Nov. 30, 1867 at the age of 70. If anyone knows anything about William and Margaret and what her maiden name might be or anything about their families it would appreciate your sharing the information.
