Hello Patsy,
It's been a while since I checked this site for replies to my query about the MCINTOMNEY'S, et al. Yours is the most informative I've received in 5 years. Your info is very interesting and included another couple of spellings for me to consider. For being a rather 'unique' last name, it sure has many possible spellings. I have only found them in Ulster until now. There are many variations of the name in Derry, Antrim and Armagh and more. I have never found the name spelled with an "i" as in McIntomney and more variations except in North America. But thanks for the leads. I guess the search for "Luke" continues. Hope to stay in touch because I have to believe there's a connection with your relatives somewhere in all this.
