Subject: Jumpstart!

This poem I wrote a long while back. Some of you may have seen it, some not. It's called "A Piece of Heart is Gone."

"What kind of bleak misfortune?
So reek, so foul, so torturing!
Beheld, imprisoned to the keep!
Taken away, too far to say,
To the militaristic boughs of hell!
Causing happiness delay.

It?s that very same despair
That we cannot run away from.
It?s that of war, it?s that of loss.
The misery they cannot see
In torturing those in the good of heart.
Letting evil souls fly free.

There?s no more time for anger.
The chime of sorrow sounds clearer.
His honor will be recognized.
But death still lingers ere we sing,
As the rain of tears falls forevermore,
Of sadness which he bring."
