"I'm almost done, Drake." he says in a soft yet menacing voice. His eyes begin to glow with a blood red light. Akira's body glows with a soft blue light. He cries out and begins to tremble violantly. He gasps for breath as blood begins to flow from his mouth, nose, and ears. Some of his fur flashes black. Xallas laughs and intensifies (sp?) the power. Akira gives another mosre violant shake. Then his eyes roll back and his body slumps. Xallas releases him and he falls to the floor, still bleeding freely. Xallas lughs again and takes the goblet of blood. He holds it to Akira's mouth.
Akira was weak, and did not realize what he was doing. He drank the blood as best he could. Xallas stepped back and said, "Watch." Akira's body glows again, but this time with a red light. His sleek silvery fur becomes ruffled and turns black. His eyes turn completely red. Only his wings remain the same. Slowly, he stands up and stands tall and strong. Shaking his head wearily, he snarls.
"This is Akira as he once was," says Xallas. "A DeathRunner."
