Subject: School Uniform Wanted

Eeh up-can any of youse tell me where to buy a school uniform and cap for an 86 year old schoolboy?

I'm usually all there with me cough drops, but the shop I usually use won't let me in 'cos they say I'm too old, now. Even though I told 'em that I died in 1973-they still won't serve me. What a cheek. Eeh..I feel like breaking their winders with me catapult!

My Mollie Sugden mother is goin' mad. She's already had to patch up me kecks and I've got nothin' left to wear an that twit -our Danny-keeps laffin at me cos me arse is hangin out! Don't some twit's mothers 'ave em? It's no joke!
Any help would be much appreshi...er..aprressiat..er..welcome.

Why don't you just get out and buy your own? I know I do. And if you do it before next week the chances are you'll get a going back to school discount.

It can be embarrassing I grant you. People think I'm some sort of middle aged saddo who can't get past the fact that my days playing loveable 'Just William' in the 70s are over.

Rubbish of course. Only 12 years ago an old TV producer friend of the bloke downstairs who's got a sister who worked in the BBC canteen said the Beeb might do a new series maybe.

Anyway keep up the good work and see you at the Pier next panto season!

Thanks for the advice. It's a bit difficult for me to go and get one what with being dead and only getting 1/6 for me pocket money. I spend most of that on gobstoppers and Bazooka Joe bubble gum so it doesn't leave a lot for clothes. eeh I'll just have to save me threpenny bits and see how I go on.

If you see her, give my love to Bonnie Langford. Oh, and tell her that her ice dancing last year was crap and that she was solely responsible for the demise of Dr Who in the 80's. Not that I was alive then, either.

Whas yer problem? Och-I get mine for free if I mention the name of the shop during the panto! Its fan-dabi-dozi! Ye wannae get in there lad. When did yae last get your peashooter oot on stage? If your ever in Cromer, get yersel a part in the their Summer Spectacular and git sponsored laddie.
