I think most of the grid would agree with most of your comments Stuart. There is certainly a general feeling of dissatisfaction in the paddock with the way in which the series is treated by the clubs. I am sure that our co-ordinator does her utmost but for some reason the organiser's perception of the series seems to present barriers to the series promotion.

I would only disagree with one point. Races in Europe are very expensive and many on the grid may not be able to afford the trip. This would inevitably mean that any such race would be non-championship, which would further reduce the number of entries. There should be no problem getting these cars into a larger grid as a separate class, Spa for example has a single seater grid limit of 60 cars, so very few series have dedicated races there. I've been "buzzed" by many a Formula 5000 at Spa!

That said, I've done a lot of racing in Europe so for me the attraction probably isn't as great as for those who have yet to try it (and believe me - Spa HAS to be done!!).

Hope to see me comments on these issues here soon (no point just talking about it in the paddock chaps).
