I will still use new tyres should competitors be looking for cost savings they could use second hand tyres, at least there would be a choice.
As regards the performance gain, what’s the point of having Class A & B if they are hobbled to go the same speed we might as well have one championship.
We should be looking to attract new cars into the series for its future, but there is no point in spending 20K to 30K on a class A car when you can buy a Class B for 12K or less.
