You'll get better as time goes on. Reading helps your vocabulary, so read a lot. My first posts were like this:

Mare walks into the new area. She sniffs about for stallions.

Now I would write like this:

Sunlighted femmora moves on flawless appendages to unfamiliar territory. Papery nares flare as new scents are assimalated by she, there were masculine scents about...
