The mare stood sipping aqua from a puddle, her white forlock hair fell over her eyes as she drank, her slender buckskin body stood glistening in the ligh. She nickered quietly to tell all Stallions she was herdless.

The black tallion trotted up to the much smaller mare. He was captivated. She radiated amonst all the other mares, as though a golden aura surrounded her sleek and agile body. Her height did not fool the large stallion. In this mare he knew was a tough and fiery spirit.

He walked causiously up to the mare, whickering softly to aert her of his presence so as not to startle her. He noticed her ears flick back towards his voice and he dared approach the wonderful illusion.

He bowed his head in greeting and whickered softly again, asking if she was in want of a herd.
