She lifts her head from grazing and scans the horizon. Still no Stallions. She thinks back to her former home where a mare could not travel a half a mile from her herd lest she be taken by another stallion. this is indeed a strange place.
She moves to the lake and bends her head and drinks her full. She flicks her shimmering ivory tail and walks to the shade of a nearby tree for a nap she closes her eyes and lets her dreams take her.

A beautiful red roan nakoda mustang whinnies as she makes her way to join the other awaiting mares.anbitions are high she thinks to herself will a stally ever come? but gratefull to leave her past as a stabled horse behind. she knows she's free now after making a daring escape from human kind...
