I completely agree with you stevho! I dont think it balances the game at all. They are just trying what they can to promote more teamwork and more defense. I mean, in raindance and maps similar to it, there is no such thing as defense. You should check out more of the new balanced maps. The bases are so freaking far apart. This is how they make it *cough* "balanced". By prolonging the time it takes to get from one base to the other. If skiing was gone, i dont know what i will do. Probably just play the original tribes :) See you in the field!
